Will Ray Rice leave Futgers and enter the draft as a Junior?  Has there been any official word on this, or is it just the fact that they will fall back into mediocrity anyway next year so he figures he needs to get in while his stock is high?

I hope so!! Learn from the Michigan seniors and Brian Brohm! Leave before you have an embarrassing senior year!

Wouldn't mind him in a Buccaneers uniform either.

I hope so.....for our sake and for the sake of seeing a truely talented and exciting RB in the NFL.

I hate to say it but I really like this kid.

2008 Mock draft -

2nd round, 49th Pick - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers

There are rumors that Cadillac Williams' career could be in jeopardy. The Buccaneers traded for Michael Bennett, but that's a temporary solution. They need a long-term answer at running back if Williams is shelved for a while.

Unless he really believes Rutgers can win the BE next year he should go to the NFL.  They lose three lineman next year I believe.  If he has any questions he should give Michael Bush a call.  Bush would have had a great chance of winning the Heisman last year then got hurt badly in the first game of the year.

Why chance it unless you really think you will win the BE.  Rice has nothing more to prove at this level.

i hope so.. the guy kills us.  wouldnt mind seeing him in a buccaneer uniform.  i think he's got a chance at being another Maurice Jones-Drew.  very small, strong RB.

  Nice!

And unfortunately, Cadaillac's career is probably over, and after I bought his jersey in the off season  >:(
