TAMPA - USF defensive end Aaron Harris had a protective boot removed from his ankle Wednesday and practiced on a limited basis.

Coach Jim Leavitt said he was doubtful for Saturday's game against Louisville.

Receiver Amarri Jackson, who has a bruised bone in his knee, won't be back until a bowl game, according to Jackson's cousin, running back Mike Ford.

Leavitt ruled Jackson out Saturday, but hopes he can play Nov. 24 at Pittsburgh.

Did he have Mr. George help him with that?

INJURY UPDATE: Senior tackle Walt Walker, who has missed the past three games with a knee injury, is expected to return for his final home game Saturday.

"It looks he never got hurt," coach Jim Leavitt said. "He'll play a lot of football. I don't know if (offensive line coach Mike Simmonds) will start him or not, but he'll play a lot."

The only Bulls expected to miss the game are receiver Amarri Jackson (bruised knee) and defensive tackle Aaron Harris (ankle). Leavitt said kickoff specialist Justin Teachey, who pulled a muscle in his kicking leg last week at Syracuse, should be able to go, though field-goal kicker and punter Delbert Alvarado is available.

great news about big Walt.

not only is he a GREAT player but he is a GREAT person too.  nice to see him go out of RayJay in style.

i still think that if he didnt go down against Rutgers then we win that game

Walker was a big loss and very happy he's back.

Expecting OT will be deeper next season.

We may see more of #97 Saturday night.

agreed.  not only that, but i think we would have pulled out UConn and Cinci too.

the Rutgers game with Walt (and TJ) going down really created a domino effect.  no Rutgers loss and i think we roll thru the season on the strength of momentum.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
