That's two losses in a row. What happened? Did someone swap Jim Leavitt's Sumatra for Sanka? You officially can slap a "phony" sticker between the Bulls' horns if they lose Saturday at home in the "We Aren't Phony" Bowl vs. Cincinnati. Bowl, loss2. Bowl, win3. Better bowl?I'm hoping for a better bowl, but our progress is clear. I'm not settling, its just that the doomsdayers on the board need to be thankful of how we've progressed. I will be happy with the season regardless of the outcome. There is some legitimacy to this. It isn't really a swipe at USF as it is sink or swim time for both USF and Cincy. Both started a surprising 6-0 before suffering two losses in a row. One of the two will go a long way to righting the ship on Saturday.

If we lose three in a row to these teams we should take some heat

But whether or not the team is "phony" is in the eye of the beholder. It depends upon the expectations that the person attached to them in the first place.
