the human voters will be ruthless to us imo

but to me-- this whole thing is a farce right now. I care about one thing

UConn and winning the Big East.

I can't see us out of the top 25-- we didn't lose to Appy State or some schlub

I'll be conservative and say the BCS will roll in around 11, the coaches poll-- 18th

we will be blowtorched in the polls tomorrow... mostly by "i told you so" sportwriters

mid teens at best... one more loss and we are out of top 25 all together.

we have to go undefeated the rest of the season for any kind of shot at one of the 4 bcs bowls (forget national championship)

we are already 3rd place in the big east standings. uconn, cincy, louisville... are all losable games

USF = Overrated team in the Top 5.  A good example of how you will be ranked is "Wisconsin".  Take a look at what happened to them as soon as they lost.  Everyone knew they were overrated but they were undefeated.  They lost a game and got put where they should have been all along.  #18... then they lost again.

This is very true!  I mean the overall ranking is great but we need to be focused on just hopefully winning out and winning the Big East.  This has been CJL goal from the very beginning of the season!  As the motto goes "FINISH STRONG!"

I won't get interested in rankings until we win our next two games.  If we are able to accomplish that, then I'll start to dream again.

The only computer poll which I see as having been updated as of this posting is Sagarin, who has us as #5 in his rankings and #6 in Elo-Chess.   

We probably will be ranked a drop or 2 lower in the other computer polls.  As we all know the Harris and Coaches polls will determine where we wind up.  I don't think we will fall out of the top 10, but I believe that WVU will jump over us.  Ugh!

Harris Poll will  punish us

Coaches Poll will punish us

AP will be reasonable

BCS - computers will be reasonable

With that said - the human factor will have greater weight than the average of 5 computers and AP. 

Bulls #9 AP, #13 Coaches, #14 Harris, and #9 BCS.
