I slept like cr*p because I was pissed about our play calling and not using Ford to pound them some more.

Why isn't Mike Ford used more? I know Jamar Taylor has had some big plays, and Ben Williams was a bowl MVP and had some other good games but as far as talent goes Ford is easily our best running back. Had he made the grades, he would probably be Alabama's starting RB right now so why the hell aren't we using him (remember, at Alabama he would either be a redshirt sophomore or true junior).

The holding call on Pedro Sosa was questionable, so possibly that offense pass interference call was some sort of make-up. That is all I can come up with, no way should that be pass interference. He did barely touch the guy while the pass was in flight but the defensive guy still had a chance to make the play on the ball but it was likely the same ref that made that holding call and he probably felt "I screwed Rutgers over before, if I let this little push slide they'll kill me" and he threw the flag.

Referees buckle under pressure too.

I couldn't think of a better way to describe this feeling, I haven't truly felt like this since the Army Homecoming game.  What made it worse is that when my alarm clock went off, 97X was talking about the game (trust me, nothing bad was said) but I just didn't want to hear anything about the game so I turned it off as quick as I could.

Maybe it was a "Make-up" call from the FAU game, when the Refs called the "Phantom" interference call on the USF PR. You got a call then, & it's evened out now. Darn!!!! ;D

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
