So who needs to lose and who needs to win, to help us out with the BCS this weekend?? Any thoughts or theories? Hard to guess since we don't know where we'll land.. but I'm curious.

BCS title game is out of reach but the orange bowl is not out of the question. if USF and WVU wins out, we win the big east. that should be our goal.

I'm asking who do we need in the top 10-15 to lose, to help us out with our ranking on Sunday.

To tell you the truth, it almost won't matter.  USC was #2 lost to Stanford and dropped to around #10.  We don't have USC's reputation, and people were shaky on us being in that #2 spot in the first place.  That means we will be between 13 - 16 regardless of what happens because there are stiill a few undefeated teams out there.

USC lost to Stanford at home, and you think us losing to a much better Rutgers team will get us moved further down?

Well, you happen to be absolutely right that is how the college football polls work but as long as we win out and win the Big East championship that is all that matters. We can't let the Big East title get away though.
