How is the players union a joke. Non guarenteed contracts is exactly what 99% of American workers have agreed too. It makes perfect sense. Baseball is the only union thats screwed up.

This whole debate is pointless. The Bucs have a valid contract with Keenan McCardell that stipulates how much he will be paid, what for, how much of it is guaranteed, for how many years, and under what conditions both parties can break the deal. Period, end of discussion. And saying "the players union sucks" does not change that. The Bucs are under no obligation to renegotiate, and they're doing the right thing by not caving.
