I'm betting the money was not a real big factor in his decision ....

it was a combination of the whole contract.  Pay cut, incentive based, one year.  Way to treat the man who brought your team from that horrendous slump in the 80s to a dynasty in the 90s.  The Yankees a real class act organization.   ::)

how many championships did the man get you?  how man consecutive post season appearances did he bring you too?  Maybe you shouldnt pay AROD 25 mil a year and spread that out for an adequate 3rd baseman and some starting pitching.  ass backwards, the Yankees downfall starts.......now!
