I saw it on the jumbotron.

Anyone see this and know why he did it? Or was he just talking smack to the guy?

During one of his rushing TDs. Guy was on the ground and Grothe was clearly yelling down at the guy.

Due to people in my way, I oculdn't really see WHY he was talking to the defender.

So was it a late hit after the TD kind of play? Something to that effect?

It was an Illegal helmet on helmet hit from the defender. Grothe just had a few words to say about the hit and probably talk smack that he still scored!

That is correct, sir...

It happened right in the South Endzone... and I loved watching it...

He took a hard hit, the UCF guy was still on the ground... MG was looking down at him and threw the ball down with authority (about as hard as you can without spiking it and getting a taunting penalty).

It was great.
