For the "directional school" comment, I prefer to say something like "Oh you mean like the University of Southern California?  Yeah, I guess you could say we're both directional schools."

....as I read the article, I could sense the fear in the author's mind.  The only reason that OSU is anywhere is because it's a large school still living in the past (see Notre Dame).  Playing in a mediocre conference like the Big 10 is nothing to write home to momma about.  Everyone knows that OSU will never be a football powerhouse again -- Maurice Clarett year was a fluke -- and that they have become the whipping boy of the Gators.

USF ought not to accept any inviation to that Buckeye dump to play.  I would recommend that Levitt say the following: Thanks, but unfortunately the only Big Ten team that deserves the honor and privilege of playing us is Wisconsin.....or perhaps App State!!!!

Right with you Mikebeau.  OSU plays nobodys and expects everyone to kowtow. 

Another stat.....USF is one of only three programs in the nation thus far to have defeated ranked opponents.  The others:  LSU and Cal. 

So let's see, OSU fan....Youngstown, Akron, Washington, Northwestern and Minnesota.  No, really, you're right, those ARE impressive wins!
