Where?and rates?  Need to stay cheap since I'm probably going to Rutgers

theres a post about this a couple threads down. But most people are at Laquinta inn ~$50.00

It was great... but I won't stay there for FIU - too far north.

Might look at a South Beach hotel for this one!!

I prefer the Gables.....

It was great... but I won't stay there for FIU - too far north.

Might look at a South Beach hotel for this one!!

I prefer the Gables.....

dont book a cheap room in Miami.... It may cost you your life

It's a ways off but probably the best hotel near FIU is the Miccosukee Resort which is maybe 15 minutes west.  But if you want to be where the action is then the Gables or the Grove are probably 20-30 mins and South Beach is about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic.
