With 33,639 to start off the 2007 season . . . this could be the year with the highest average attendance.

1. 38,865 2005

2. 33,038 1997

3. 30,222 2006

The most recent 2 season have been better.

USF needs to average 39,911 over the last 5 games to beat the '05 average.

The UCF, Louisville and WVa games in '05 averaged 41,333. So with UNC in two weeks and Cincy as Homecoming, I think the Bulls can make it.

With 60K expected for WVU, sure that UNC's attendance will keep us ahead of schedule.

I think it's safe to say the record is in the bag. If we get 65K on Friday, our average will be 45444 after 3 games, and we should get 40K or above for UC, UL, and UCF.

With 37,639 for UNC, then USF only needs to average 30,749 for the last four home games to beat the USF home announced attendance average.
