It's hurricane season? One could hardly tell making it through the peak month of the season with out a single one near us. How many were we supposed to have this year according to the priests of the church of global warming?

August isn't peak month, September is.  Please take Global Warming discussions to The Mad Cow.

I'm not.  We're on an above average pace, and have already had on Cat 5 in the Carribbean.  Felix is Named Storm #6, which happens on average on Sept 12th.  Another storm on his heels that looks like a good bet to develop.  It doesn't look like a repeat of 2005, but we are definitely more active than last year.  Where the storms go is always the real question.  So far we've only seen one turn north, meaning the Bermuda High has been hanging lower which should push more storms closer to the US Mainland.

Fingers crossed that we have a couple more quiet years to recover.
