I had a good conversation with a New England(er) recently and he/she was adamant that Syracuse would not go 0/3 versus USF; while surging back for a win this year at home. I begged to differ with him/her. Was I right? We will get a good look on ESPN network 8/31 at Syracuse vs Washington (Friday Night Lights!) 8pm kick off I believe (may be later kickoff). Is that a fact or were you not sure which? HAHA, how do you not know which one they were? Maybe it was Pat for SNL. Also, people from Syracuse arent conidered New Englanders. Syracuse is in upstate New York., not New England, unless it was a new englander who was alum of cuse. Oh and Syracuse will go 0 for the century vs. USF football. Let them know they dont have McNabb anymore and they should stick to watching basketball.

This is good b/c they have a national championship - about a century ago - and anytime we beat teams with long histories things get better for BULLS. Did they watch the two games we played. B/c that would have to be one heck of a resurgence for Cuse to even make it a close game. :Flossing

They haven't really had a good team since 2001. They have lost some key recruits in recent years. They have some tradition to turn to, but I think it will still be a while before they return to prominence. A friend of mine was their starting QB for a year so I followed them for a bit. As much as their fans would like to think they are a perennial football powerhose and have been that way since day 1, they have always experienced periods of some pretty mediocre teams like they are going through now.Nice school, Great lacrosse team, great basketball school, but throughout history, their football team goes up and down. They will be back at some point, but it may take a while.
