Not according to this guy:

Kittle, who retired in 1991, wrote that he asked Bonds to autograph some baseball jerseys at Chicago's Wrigley Field 12 years ago, but the San Francisco Giants slugger said: "I don't sign for white people."

One person's level of arrogance is not dependent on another's.

someone wearing a suit is arrogant?  i'd rather someone show some class and dress respectfully than show up on set all thugged out or look like white trash.

from what was said when he was on set with ESPN, it sounded like he had just changed into the suit before he went on air with them anyways

If you're not competing in the Derby, like that arrogant, selfish, ásshole Bonds, what does it matter what you're wearing?

Yes, ARROGANT!  Everyone else, in or out of the derby, was wearing their all star jersey.  Other players were on with the ESPN guys as well and they wore their jerseys.  If you watched "The Bronx is Burning" last night, Reggie Jackson is to the Yankees what AROD is.  Arrogant and not the Yankee type.  A highly overpaid employee which inflated his ego by 1 million.

He looked out of place, he looked overdressed, he looked as if he thought he was better than the the likes of Barry Bonds, Chase Utley, Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, I can go on and on of great players not participating in the derby who also were in their jerseys.

It is like if we all worked together and after a company sotball game we all went out to Chilis in our game gear and you went home and changed into your 3 piece suit because you hit the game winning homerun.  AStro says is the best, AROD is a JOKE>

So what exactly was ARod celebrating that he had to put on a 3 piece suit? That analogy makes no sense ....

You would have come off better just saying Arod was arrogant rather than trying to make some lame comparison to Mr Potato Head.
