And we have another.  Way to go shawn camp, nice walk-off to lose another game.

Bright spot is that Jackson has had, I think, 3 good outings in a row. Maybe we're seeing why they keep sticking with him....

3 good outings in a row?  The guy won his 1st game in 2 years the other night and you accept them "sticking" with him.  Now i know why you stood tall next to your cousin Mac, when is enough...enough??  The Kansas City Royals would have sent htis guy down by now.  I try so hard to attend games and root for the drays but they make it so hard.

hmmm, we have lots of hitting and ZERO bullpen, maybe we should try making trades?  they won't

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think they can send him down without exposing him to other teams. I thought I heard that somewhere and nobody seems to be ready to completely give up on the guy. His last three outings have been good so hopefully he's coming around .... maybe, as mania suggested, a different role may help but those decisions are being made by people with more baseball than any of us in here.

You are correct, we cannot send him to triple A, he'd have to clear waivers and that probably wouldn't happen.  He has pitched well his last two starts but I still think he would be a good set up guy for reyes.  He has a 95-96 MPH fastball that would be a good change of pace after our starters because none of them throw that hard.

Shields threw a great game today.  That crap face Fossum got brought in to get one guy out and he gives up the game winning run.

Fossum's ERA is like 7.50.  He is the worst and getting worse all the time.

a 95-96 mph fastball means nothing when he throws it straight and down the middle.

As a starter, yes.  But look at guys like JP Howell, Sonnanstine, and Shields.  They are all off-speed, breaking ball pitchers.  If hitters see that for 6-7 innings and then get fastballs at 95 thrown, it's much harder to adjust.  Why do you think that the best closers in the game have a mid to high 90's fastball.

He's actually had a 2.70 era for his last three starts. Not great but not bad, either..... Will have to see if those three games were an aberration or not.

This bulpen is so terrible!!!!!!  If we had at least a MEDIOCRE bulpen the Rays would be at .500 or better!  This team can be a contender NEXT YEAR if they got ...

Same story every year, just replace the end part with whatever they are lacking.

The first couple years the Rays were a team, they had a great bullpen but their starters were pretty horrid.
