I noticed the thread about Tampa landmarks, and started thinking about the USF campus. I don't know if USF really has a distinct landmark. You look at other colleges and universities, and most have some distict building or statue. Like, UF has Century Tower; UCF has that big fountain; UT has the minorets. What does USF have? MLK plaza, the SunDome, and the water tower. I don't know, none of these seem to be unique or identifiable with USF; and I kind of feel like it would be good if we did have something unique to the campus.

We have the bomb shelter under that old sociology/rotc building--the one across the street from the Sun Dome.  How many other universities can say they have one of those?
