  1. Anyone know if USF is looking at Byronell Arline from Ridgewood? I've heard a few SEC schools want him to play LB. Just wondering if USF is going to try to keep him close to home.
  2. I watched Joe Weatherford the last couple of years, and I honestly think he's a product of a good system that had some outstanding receivers. There's no comparing him to his brother Drew; had Drew had the supporting cast that Joe had in high school, Land O'Lakes could have won a state championship. I hope for both UCF and Joe's sakes that I'm wrong, but I don't think he's good enough to play D1 college football.
  3. If Cincy holds on and wins, and beats UConn next week, they'll finish 7-5. What does this do to our bowl hopes? This may give the Big East more bowl-eligible teams than they have spots.
  4. I'm sure they'd be done with this investigation by now if they weren't so tied up with that whole Reggie Bush/USC fiasco. Let's see which program gets into more trouble
  5. Can't say I'm surprised by any of this. When I was at USF, I sat in the front row of the student section behind the basket for every basketball game for my four years. I don't know if it's still tradition or not, but we didn't sit down until USF scored their first basket of the game. We were playing Ohio State, and I got kicked out for standing, and doing what I did every game. Same thing almost happened a couple years later (one of Greenburg's first years there), and Seth actually apologized to us after the game and told us it wouldn't happen again. If that happens on USF's campus, why should it be different at RJS?
  6. I live in Pasco County and have seen both play. Voss is far, far superior to the younger Weatherford--it's not even close. Weatherford has a little talent at Land O'Lakes, while Voss is on his own at Gulf. In Weatherford's first game, he completed under 50% of his passes and he has two huge, athletic receivers that most of the teams he plays can't cover. Having said that, neither of them is close to Drew Weatherford.
