Grothe ... is he bigger?

Watched the video interview of Grothe. Is it just me, or does he look alot bigger than last year? He mentioned he put on 10lbs, but looks like more than that.

I've seen it in his upper body ... and hear that his arm strength gained also. He's been throwing the long ball well in practice.

Speaking of bigger,stronger,arm strength ... Gregory !   Can't wait to see more of him by the Spring Game and expecting us to have the best 2 Deep at QB we've ever seen.

Nothing against Blackwell, but Grothe plus anyone makes for the best two-deep USF has ever seen.

yep a little bigger...really gained about 15 lb's and got more muscle.. his bench went up over 40 lb's cmon Sept!!

Not sure about that.  Blackwell in his Junior and Senior years was better than Matt right now.  No offense to MG, but I'm sure Leavitt would agree.

I disagree on so many levels it's not even funny.

No respect to MB, but he shone like a superstar against 1-AA talent and had the occasional "Game of his Life" against 1-A teams.

MG consistently wins at not only the 1-A level, but the upper echelon of the 1-A level.

To try and compare MB and MG is an apples and oranges proposition.  But let's not forget that against a 1-A team as a freshman, MG obliterated a single-game passing record that Marquel established as a senior (I believe) against a 1-AA team.
