Vandy is pretty good, they did smack Florida pretty good a few weeks ago.

Vanderbilt is OK, IMO.  They certainly shouldn't be 30 points better than GW.

I'm just bitter because I picked them to beat Vandy. :'(

I didn't see the game so I won't comment on it.  The A-10 is a mid-major conference on a par with C-USA before the realignment.  K. Hobbs is 4-7 against BCS schools since the 03-04 season.  This is what I would expect from a mid-major team.  This would not be a bad choice, unlike RMC who came from a conference that is on a par with the Horizon league and the Sun-belt.  If we go mid-major the MVC, A-10, Mountain West and WAc are the conferences just below the BCS conferences on a regular basis.  There is where we would make our best choices.

Also, forget about Lowery, according to reports he's headed to Minnesota (no I don't know the reliability of this).
