Does anybody really care about basketball?  Not one post that I'm aware of about the best conference tourney in the country.

I don't think USF's bball apathy has much to do with the team's success, or lack there of.  I think that basketball is just not important enough to most people around USF.  And that makes it real hard to find a decent coach.

Harvey.... no one at USF knows what a tournament is like.  The majority of USF fans are young and the last time we went to the NCAA tournament was in 1992.

Men's Bball is USF's worst sport.

This year alone, we've had 6 USF's sports receive votes in different national polls.  It's sad that men's Bball can't do the same.

I talk about the Big East tournament all the time and how upsetting it is we didnt make it.   I used to go to them when i was a kid.  It is the best conference tournament of them all and we are the only team in our conference to not make it.  Sad

Hopefully they'll take care of Georgetown tonight.  I'd like to see UL win too.  ND/UL would be a pretty good final, with ND winning it of course.  They have never won a BE tourney before so it would be a big step for them and good for the conference I think.

Tough loss for the Irish.  They appear to be in good hands for the next three years with Tory Jackson and Luke Harangody.  The loss might actually help them next week in the big dance, with time off and injuries.
