McCullum's Bulls didn't qualify for the Big East tournament again. VCU first-year coach Anthony Grant interviewed for the job prior to McCullum getting it when Grant was an assistant at Florida. Grant won the CAA in his first year as a head coach in Richmond. But if this job becomes open, he may think twice about going to one of the Big East's toughest programs.http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=katz_andy#20070302

I don't think he's right about us being a "lock" for the NIT though.

Guest 1Bullsfan
I think there's better candidates then him. However, winning on any level is an improvement.
