I'd rather have ESPN picking Auburn to win the game.

If we're going to be a big time program, then we can't hope for the "sneaking up on a team" factor anymore.  This is awesome pub for our program.  We should embrace it and just hope that CJL prepares our team correctly, both athletically and mentally.

This guy's also saying West Virginia will run the table, Steve Slaton will win the Heisman, and TCU will win at Texas. So there's a good chance he's talking out his rear end.

He's a sportswriter...isn't he?

At least it's pub.

Guest BasketBull.

Every year we've had these sort of tests. Starting way back, I recall San Diego State, Pitt, Utah, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Alabama, Penn State and Miami... (Maybe I've got order wrong.) Anyway, they are good tests for our program.

I would say Auburn is probably our best chance to pass since this whole "testing" thing started.

I agree. It's best to be written off and not expect to win. I'd rather have our guys fired up and mad and want to prove something. They keep saying these types of things and the boys will feel they won't have to play the game.

I have found that Mark Shlabach is generally knowledgeable about college football -- at least more so than most talking heads.

To be sure, I like our chances at Auburn. No matter who says we have a chance, Auburn will still overthink the game and not give us enough respect.   Regardless, it's going to be a great game.

I am more worried about those SEC refs in this game. I dont think USF made a point to use BIG EAST offiicials before they signed this game because we were in C-USA at the time. I will never forget on how bad those SEC officials were when we played against Arkansas. Anyone that came remember that game will understand what I am talking about.
