Joe, you are correct.  I follow college baseball(probably too closely) and the gators are not on that top tier this year.  They are 5-6 and they lost the series to Kent State this weekend.  They were also killed by FSU(who is a top tier team) last week.  I know people are excited about playing the Gators, but I hope they get just as excited when we play Georgia Tech at home.  They are currently ranked 16th in the nation and are always a threat to make the CWS.

Can't worry about GT yet since we don't meet them until early May.  I watched that UF/FSU game on tv, and the Gators made a ton of errors/mental mistakes.  Absolutely took them out of the game early.  Depending on the pitching, it should be a closely contested matchup.  We just need to make sure we do the little things (advance runners, smart defense, bunt, etc) to have a chance to beat them in the late innings.

This game should be real good.  It is too early to talk about the GT game, but I was just throwing out the fact that we play them later in the season.  We can't make errors and we have to hit the ball well and if that happens then we have a good cahnce to win.

I actually think the Gators will have to play their best game of the year to beat us.  They've already lost two series' against VMI and Kent State.  They are the ones that have struggled so far this year, not us.  Plus its the first road game of the year for them.  Granted we'll still need to play well, but we can compete with anyone if we play our game.

They beat Miami in 2 games, so they are capable. But they are very young and very bad in the pitching dept.

Miami stinks this year. The VIP lounge is having beer. Hopefully a ton of Bulls fans show up Tuesday.
