I checked the future schedules linked above.  i don't see anything about Illinois on the schedule and they show games through 2010.

I know it's been considered, but that appears to be it so far.

Would love to get another Big Name for 2009 OOC ... and would be away if the schedule stays the same:

Sept.   5 Wofford

Sept. 19 FIU

Sept. 26 Miami

Oct.     9 @ Indiana

And if The Big East's rotation stays the same we would have the same Home & Away as this season.

Remember, ET... USF is in discussions with Buffalo and Western Kentucky games to "replace" the UCF game...

Or maybe USF will sign another home and home or 2 for 1 with UCF starting in 2009...

While I would not mind scheduling a 2-1 with UCF, Buffalo or WKU ... hope it would not start in 2009.

It's already a weak OOC.

Sure we are shopping Sept. 12th with name BCS teams for a 1-1 WITH A RETURN GAME TO TAMPA in the future - our schedule is WIDE open after 2009.

If we do a 1 for 1 with a team like ILL. we should insist on the upper hand and schedule the games when WE want them.  ILL should not have any power over us in the negotiations.

ftu/ou/oc is  a better game than wollard or fiu
