yeah, i flipped between the local stations, seeing what they'd do. i know 8 and 10 didn't have anything but a mention of the class as a whole -- but for local TV, footage of a high school kid putting on a hat (or a bunch of kids putting on a bunch of hat) is probably a better clip than a sound bite of leavitt saying he's excited. only three guys from this class (voss, spires and bellamy) are from the immediate tampa bay area, so even if they dropped some names, it's not names general TV viewers would necessarily recognize.

i know you guys want the exposure for USF, but if the gators signed the no. 1 class in the country, with nine five-star recruits, and urban doesn't get a sound bite, it's hard to argue why leavitt would ...
