Recruiting rankings are absolute garbage. High school football in this state and Texas are head and shoulders above the other 48 in every category. Everyone needs to take a look at Pitt. They have by far the best class in the Big East, and I would think it ranks right up there nation wide. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=141&p=9&c=8&yr=2007  i always thought bulls would get that type talent

We are getting talent that plays every bit as good as a 4 or 5 star right now, only they are rated 3 stars and get developed by great coaching. THat is much more important to us at this juncture. If we win a big east championship or two... you'll see the more touted recruits come here... and then Leavitt will make them 6 star athletes

My high school found out the hard way my junior year...1. Florida2. Texas3. California4. Pennsylvania5. OhioAs for recruiting rankings being garbage, I agree to an extent. The top 150 are the obvious guys and are usually pretty correct. However, it is a crapshoot outside of that and just too hard to rate correctly. This is a very good class, and I am not the least bit worried about the future of the program.
