Everyone needs to take a look at Pitt. They have by far the best class in the Big East, and I would think it ranks right up there nation wide. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=141&p=9&c=8&yr=2007

Their 2003-2005 recruiting classes were aweful, they didn't address obvious needs, they got a lot of guys who didn't qualify, and had to move guys around to fill positions. They had a very solid class last year and return with a very good class this year. I believe it's unfair to say that their recruiting hasn't worked for them yet because most of their best recruits and future talent were only freshmen last year. They are bringing in LeSean McCoy who last year was probably the best back available. He was covented by USC, Florida, Miami, and Va Tech.No doubt USF does the best job at getting the most of their atheletes and will always have this advantage over Pitt. However, I wouldn't rule Pitt out as a BE contender in 2008 when a lot of what the Stache has recruited has matured.

I just don't know if you can judge what he has going there just yet.
