Had his whole team back for the last 2 games...and the product on the floor has looked 10 times better.

Any objective view point can see that.

3 year extension... probably something close to 500K...

This ST. Johns game is crucial!  A HUGE game..

we don't play well on the road and this is one of the teams we are competing with for a spot at MSG.

I think McCullum will have earned that extention if he makes it to the BIG EAST tourny. I say maybe 2 or 3 years to help with recruiting. I just love the way McCullum has the team playing hard right now. They are not intimidated by ranked teams which is amazing to me.

we should beat them soley  for disrespecting us and playing us at aluni hall and not at MSG.  Its a kick in the nuts if you ask me.  They play teams like Niagra, Queens College and CUNY schools there.  Hell even Hofstra gets scheduled to play at msg or at least nassau colisuem.  Mac should use this as firing power.  Disrespect us on the road and we will crush you.

I am starting to believe you are right. This team should make it to the garden. If we dont something is wrong. We make it to the Garden then he should stick around and see if we can improve next year.

Such the pessimist. We just had a big win that might turn this program around, and all you can say is something negative. Can you lay off Coach Mac at least until our next loss. We won, that is what's important.

Where the heck is Rueb?  Isn't he due to arrive and contest Ari's comments?

While I have never considered joining the "Fire Mac" position, there is SOOOO much more to do.  We do need that St. John's game and some more.  I want to see more than MSG.  I want to see a healthy well-coached group of guys contend down the stretch in every game.  That is where I will find "impressive."  If we're for real, we won't play Marquette to 2 or beat ND and then have UL drop a 30 point beating in us. We contended a lot last year, but couldn't pullout the win, we seem to be in new territory where we can.  Let's see it.

You have to give an extention if you want good recruits to come to USF. Recruits will be scared to come to USF if they knew that we have a coach that will not be back in the next year or so.

Holmes will have to pick up where Mattis and Buckely will leave off this year. If not, we'll have our work cut out.

Good nucleus with Gransberry, Howard, Bozeman, and the rest. Need help at the post. If he gets help we'll continue to improve. Kentrell is all star material and we've got a few with that potential.
