Thread started on the WVU board.  Some of their fans are concerned.  Think our O-Line can capitalize on this?

WE NEED LINEMAN ASP!!!!!!!!  

I hope we are working around the clock to gets some help up front on both sides of the line ASP our we are going to be in TROUBLE down the road and thin on both sides of the line! loosing Hudson made me sick and the lack of DT and DE signings isn't a good sing period. Anyone with some info on the big eaters our kids we are chasing at this LATE STAGE in the game?

You do realize that we will NOT have a Sr. in the 2 deep on offensive lineman next year with the majority being FR/ Soph. Also we did bring in 4 DL last year. Berry/Neild/Broxie/Merrow. All are R/F. With Gradkowski, Barclay and Snodgrass and probably 1 more OL we will be stockpiled with about 15 schollie OL. We do not need anymore than that or they are wasted scholorships as someone will eventually leave for lack of playing time. The day of OL sitting 4 years to play 1 are GONE. We have started a R/S Fershaman on OL every year for the past 4 years.

The only thing I really wanted was a Big Time MLB and CB. Maybe we got the CB but we struck out SO FAR on the MLB.

They "may" be weaker, but we are sure to be stronger.

WVU's defense is what separates them from being a "National Championship" squad. It's weak on the front, it does haev great speed in the secondary, but they aren't great playmakers.

They gave up over 300 yards passing to a backup QB in a bowl game and couldn't cover Calvin Johnson.

They let Mike Teel have a career day on them.

That being said their offense is unbelievable, in 2007 it will be even better as the WRs will be a tad more expirienced.

I do not see them winning a National Championship however, the defense just isn't very good.

We need to make sure that our defense does what it did last year to them, prevent Slaten and White from getting the yards.  We have the ability to put up points now.
