Leavitt has said on several occasions that we will continue to play a 1-AA team every year as long as it counts towards bowl eligibility.  His reasoning had something to do with the fact that we were once 1-AA (not too long ago) and it was very important for us to get that "big" division 1-A game every year.  It seems like he's trying to look out for the little guy as much as he's trying to guarantee a victory.  We wouldn't be where we are today if none of the "big-time" programs wanted to play a 1-AA team each year.

Big teams will always play a lesser team.  Like I said before, only two teams do not play against a 1 AA opponent and they are USC and Notre Dame.

Its all about $$$.  End of discussion.

I would rather an AA school and a hard OOC than an AA and UCF.
