Has anyone taken notice of the fact that Rivals shows 14 commits on its list for USF and Scout shows 18?

Both of those sites charge for many of their features.  Shouldn't they be at least up-to-date and on par with each other as to our commit list?

Just food for thought (and comment). LOL

I believe the 4 recruits on Scout not on Rivals are David Fonua, Jeremiah Warren, Mike Ford and Lawrence McCoy.  Fonua and Warren are last year's commits who enrolled last week, so maybe rivals does not consider them this year's (I wonder why scout does not list McCaskill since he is similarly situated).

Mike Ford and McCoy will be listed when/if Rivals verifies the verbal, or gets around to it.

It's hard not to "verify" Mike Ford's verbal considering he is enrolled at USF.

There's a big debate going on inside the Rivals premium board.  The issue isn't really Rivals verifying Ford's enrollment, because Dave says he sent them the verification.  The issue is Rivals addressing things that happen at certain schools vs other schools.

For example, Dixon's mother allegedly told someone from the Nebraska Rivals board that he was likely to abandon his commit to USF and attend NU instead.  Well, Rivals immediately changed Dixon from USF to NU based on unsubstantiated rumor.  However, it takes them forever to handle commits when Dave provides the data to them.

So, there are many longstanding Rivals subscribers that see this as being duplicitous, and not meeting the needs of the USF Rivals site.

Doing a recruit search on Rivals, I can't even find Mike Ford on there.

That's because they don't have a 2007 page setup for him yet.  Change your search to 2006...

If you go to the recruit search, you need to adjust the recruit season you're searching under.  Rivals hasn't set his 2007 profile yet, so you have to search under 2006.
