Matt Simms looked unimpressive in the All Star Game, but its hard to tell in that environment.  Louisville will be fine, not as strong as the last few years, but still capable of winning versus every other Big East school.  Kragthorpe is a good coach and would be a great fit for the 'Ville.

Is Lville at the level where they could lure another current BCS coach?

I wonder how this will effect how some of the talented underclassmen at UL decide on staying or going pro.

this may work out great for usf

be championship here we come.

we should be favorites along with wvu

we need to take care of our biz in our house and win games we are favored in

if FORD is our RB and we preform consistancy at or near our best we should make history again in 2007

.  I hope he ends up like Saban and Spurrier and falls on his face in the ATL.

i wouldnt say that Saban fell on his face in the NFL.  he had 2 decent seasons considering the team he had.  i think he just realized he liked the college game more then coaching in the NFL.

i agree with those who think that this wont hurt the louisville program as much as everyone thinks.

they are still a team that is coming off of a BCS win and shouldnt hurt recruits too much.  they MIGHT lose 2 or 3 guys but lets see.  i would still say that are ahead of us in the preseason polls, and picked to finish higher in the big east.

This is big news, however, I think some people are building up the expectations a little high.  The Ville has the money to go shopping and get someone good.   This should serve as notice to us the CJL could be on someone's radar as well.

I think we better get busy on that dining hall he has been asking for.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
