I would be really disappointed if we didn't. They are losing a huge chunk of their team and, knocking on wood, it looks like we not only will be returning almost everybody but even the positions where we are losing somebody we are reloading with similar or better talent. There is not a single game I expect this team to lose. Obviously it will be very tough but we are capable.

I'm gonna hold off till I see who all we end up signing.

Without a strong RB we will not win.

Ford we need ya!!!!!!  Come with us and a BCS and maybe NC game is in your future. (Alabama can't even buy a coach!!! and even if they do, How loyal will he be??)

A bold prediction would be...

USF will beat Auburn... in the Sugar Bowl!!

Auburn will have most of its starters returning next year.  They are a good team and should challenge for the SEC title.  Can USF win? Sure.  It's early in the season and the coaching staff could have the team really prepped.

We'll know more once we see the recruits and the spring game.

let's just say that I'm a little less confident since we have yet to beat ANY SEC team so far.

possible? I guess

probable? not so sure

that's about how I feel, but the future is definitely bright! Further, as much as I think and bullieve that we can, keep in mind we can still have a very successful feeling with a loss in that game.

a win against Auburn would be earth shattering

That might be a bit overstated... it will be big, but remember USF has won a road game against a good Top 10 team already.  Auburn won't be any better than WVU was this year -- and I think USF will match up better.

The problem with the Auburn game will be USF's offense vs Auburn's defense.  If USF can find a running game (Mike Ford or the return of Plancher and Ponton or growth of Williams) then it becomes less of a stretch.

It's not something I will expect, but we can hope.
