Guest AstroBull
I thought that since the Bucs beat Cleveland, the Browns get the 3rd pick
windbane Posted January 2, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 39 Content Count: 3,403 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/27/2005 Share Posted January 2, 2007 I heard there was a coin flip as well. I don't think head-to-head would work because if 2 teams were tied going into the last game and faced each other, try should try to lose. not that detroit shouldnt have tried to lose anyway...oh well, i dunno.any thoughts on who the first pick will be? i'm not sure brooks isnt a good QB but the OL and coaching staff isn't very good right now. just seems like whoever they pick is doomed for a few years. He is the best talent at #2 but they cant pick him no matter what. The Bucs should try to grab him.

If two teams are tied for SoS, then the Division or Conference tie breaker procedures are used if applicable. If two teams are still tied, then a coin flip is used. Since the Browns and Bucs are in different conferences, then the next applicable tie breaker was a coin flip. I believe the coin flips are done at the NFL Combine, but I may be wrong.Kizarvexis
