I thought FAU played its home games at the old Miami Fusion stadium off of Commercial Blvd? That stadium isn't that old?

Opened in 1959, Renovated/expanded in 1998

Round Trip flights from Tampa would be inexpensive.

What is inexpensive to you?

RT Airfare + Rental Car + Hotel = not that inexpensive

It's an easy drive...approximately 250 miles.

Auburn is a must,  FAU is real easy to go to.

Agree...Auburn road trip is GREAT!

For any golfers out there...you MUST either arrive a day earlier or stay a day later...and enjoy the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail's Grand National resort (just outside of Auburn in Opelika...where most of the hotels are located).

http://www.rtjgolf.com/courses/grand_national/

The Lake and Links courses are TOP NOTCH...Club House is amazing...services are outstanding...all for about 1/3 the price you would find a other top resport courses in FLA.

For the 3 games UCF played up at Auburn....UCF/Auburn fans held a traditional tournament between fans the morning of the game (night game).

It was a BLAST!

PS. Good thing about gameday at Auburn...almost all the parking is FREE...even some locals will allow you to park on their front lawn for FREE...and you can basically pop any curb anywhere...and the cops will let you park there.

Oh...and even if USF comes short in the game...cruise out to the main drag...and watch Auburn Fans "TP" the trees at Toomers Corner at the game...its a fun site to see.

Time is money to some ... and some just hate to drive.
