We always need more than one RB, so they will work hard and try to be "the other back".

'Course we are assuming a lot.

what will ponton, plancher and  williams do if ford comes aboard?

Keep hustling, keep a good attitude, put the team ahead of their individual interests, play hard when called upon.......just like PJ this year.

Hopefully if Nick Saban does become the Alabama coach it doesn't make Ford decide to stay with Tuscaloosa.

if that $40 million offer is over 9 or 10 years, he would make less money than he already does.  just seems like an odd choice to make, and for alabama it is more than a million per year more than any other college coach makes.  ridiculous.  i hope Mike Ford and any other potential recruit realizes that USF probably has a better team right now than alabama and they are so desperate for a coach they are going to extreme measures to get one.  i suppose if saban did take the job he'd do well, but we're already doing well as far as potential for the next several years.

mike ford could be our final piece for truly great things.  he should stay here regardless.

i assume alabama is barely going to offer nick saban more than he makes in the nfl, otherwise it doesnt make much sense unless he just thinks he'll never be successful in the pros.  he's got a decent team in the nfl and his job seems to be secure there.  he should get his QB back next year too in culpepper.

Wow, should we send thank you flowers to the Alabama AD?

We will buy him dinner to if Marve comes.
