Final polls for this year?

FAU would be a day trip...  I bet that happens anyway.

Trips out of Florida are when we have to look at additional costs (extra travel days, extra food, extra gas, HOTEL rooms, etc).  

You never know.  The band staff are willing to go where USF or other people pay for!

why not get a local (from Auburn) high school band like FSU did for their NC State game?

Econ, good points, sometimes W's are more important than who you play, if you can rack up a gaudy record (like Boise St.)

I've never heard of a high school band being a sub for a college band IN the stadium.  Maybe little pep rally things or something, but not AT the game.

Besides, you won't get all of the school songs and YOUR band!

I think a couple of school songs like "The Bull", plus their own songs is better than the ZERO school songs we would get if the HOT doesn't make it.  When you don't have a great budget you shouldn't dismiss things so easily w/o exploring them.

I think a couple of school songs is better than the ZERO school song we would get if the HOT doesn't make it.  When you don't have a great budget you shouldn't dismiss things so easily w/o exploring them.

 

I didn't "dismiss" it, but its not my call anyway.  We would have to pay them anyway, I'd rather support our program.  In my eyes, either send our program or SAVE the money and make the program less dependant on rentals and such, so they can afford to attend more trip in years to come.  Either way, I'd like us to boost our stuff up before paying for some second rate HS or college band to play a few songs at this point.  But, just my opinion.
