Bulliever Rises from the Ashes, Re-Commits to Website

Clermont, FL  07/07/02 - In what many considered to be a long shot, SouthFloridaBulls.com website owner and operator, Brad Meyer, has decided to emerge from his off-season hiatus.  Experts in the industry agree that this may be the first step to a site update.

The unofficial Bulls site had existed in cyberspace for nearly three months without a single significant update.  Some might even argue that it's been longer than that - depending on the definition of "significant."

After a failed bid to obtain venture capital funding, Meyer apparently decided to drop his quest for a Hollywood-style production and instead will return to to his original style of website management.

When asked what prompted the change in direction, Meyer quickly responded, "There is a huge void out there for Bulls fans, a void this site intends to perpetuate."  

"Look for frequent updates," Meyer challenged the Bulls faithful.  He currently is soliciting assistance in keeping the site updated, and, plans to hire a fulltime writer on a part time pro bono basis.

brad, i really believe that in the next 10-15 years there will be an award in your honor.  

maybe the most over hyped internet recruit or something, but there will be a bulliever award.

if i have to donate 2,000 a year to make it happen......you deserve it.

Wow Brad, that brings back some memories.  Especially looking at some of the links and the original Bullbackers name, 12th Man Club.  I remember Texas getting in touch with us and sicking their lawyer on us.

Well Gene, it was you and me (you more than me) that jumped into the Bulls merchandise a little too early...but hey, we're pioneers.  Best thing is that when you look at the people that put personal well-being at stake to take a gamble on their Bulls we're there (good or bad).

Rezz, if so, I hope it's an honor that recognizes the next knucklehead that does the right thing and promotes the Bulls...leave those over-hyped recruits out of it...   ;D

I checked my join date on here a few weeks ago, Dec. 24, 2001.  I've been here nearly five years, and a diehard Bull fan long before that, but that five years ago seems like yesterday.  Thanks for providing a great service Brad, and also to everyone else who does something positive for this community.
