Read the comments posted about Tebow > Grothe.  How many snaps has Tebag taken?  Give me a break.

South Florida (8-4) vs. East Carolina (7-5)

Birmingham, Ala., Dec. 23, 1 p.m. (ESPN2)

The Bulls are seeking their first postseason points in former Conference USA matchup. Two bowls in two Big East seasons. Not bad. And after USF’s superb road win at West Virginia, a few questions must be asked. Is USF the state’s second-best program? Is Matt Grothe the best freshman quarterback in America?

Prediction: South Florida 27, East Carolina 13.

Tim Tebow never played a whole game.  No way that is accurate.  Right now, TODAY, Matt Grothe and his stats say he is the best!  Will he be the best sophmore QB next year, we have to wait and see.  I cannot wait to see USF’s first bowl victory!

yes we do have the second best program in the state..look at the record.  And no Grothe is not the best freshmen quaterback in the nation. He is third. behind:

1. Tim Tebow

2. Colt “The Real†McCoy

3. Matt “The Future†Grothe

As a refugee from the John-this-university-will-have-a-football-team-over-my-dead-body-Allen era of early USF, I have enjoyed immensely the first 10 years of Bulls football. I just wish more it was televised.

For B’ham Bowl re-match of former C-USA rivals, if the Bulls remember to “take no prisoners,†it could be April before Coach Leavitt recovers from the head-butting.

Tim Tebow helped the Gators win a couple of games.  Matt Grothe helped USF win eight games.  No contest who had a bigger impact as a Frosh.

Yeah im a huge tebow fan as i saw him play alot from trips back home over the last few years, but to see he is better or more valuable than grothe at this time is just stupid.  Tebow has alot more potential but as far as production at this point and time Matt has a decisive edge.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
