Boneyard Banter?

Hey guys, the problem is you can't use a free email address to register for the Boneyard.  You have to use like a road runner email or a work email, etc.  It helps to keep the trolls away when you know their names, etc.  

If you don't want to go that route, there are some other boards like Rivals and Scout that are fairly active, but not nearly as active as the Boneyard.  The good thing is, you don't have to worry about receiving any kind of spam from the Boneyard to your email account.

I was using my verizon.net email with my name on it but listed Bulls as favorite team.  I think that's probably what got me restricted.  They only allow was think are favorable Pirate fans and one else, they keep out.

I don't think that's the case.  One guy is the admin for the entire board.  He'll get to yours, I'm sure.

I am ammazed by the fans on that board.  They claim that they don't want any smack talk on the board, but just keep starting thread after thread attacking USF.  Hypocrits.

I agree USFMikeB.  I was looking at their comments on the Rivals site as well.  USF fans would be talking about what bowl and where we were going and then some ECU pirate fan comes on trashing our name (South Florida instead of West or West Central), our road game fan base, and our lack of football history.  I want us to beat these Barney looking butt pirate/pillow biters so bad.  I can't wait till December 23rd.

Hi again, We are the Bulls family and this is our Holiday Letter to all our friends. It HAS been a while since we've seen many of you and we would like to update you on what has been going on with our family these past years!

Well, where to begin? We were picked over many teams for a spot in the BCS conference -- Big East Bulls!! As you well know, not everyone gets that invitation! Never shying away from a challenge, we proceeded to topple #9 Louisville with outstanding performances by our wide receivers and our KILLER Linebacker corps -- Moffit, St. Louis, and Nichols. You will be seeing them up close and personal in a few weeks. This win garnered national attention and people

took notice of this young university program. We had a nationally ranked running back who broke many school records and is now playing pro football -- Andre Hall. Well, this year -- What a year! Seems as if we found the #1 freshman quarterback in the nation! This kid is phenomenal! He can do it all and will do it despite your best efforts. He has a knack for making D lines and Linebackers look like the Keystone pirates...er, cops...when they're running all around yelling, "Where'd he go? Where'd he go? It is really funny to watch -- you'll see!

After losing on a dropped two pt. conversion, Rutgers beat us and went on to national recognition and ranking. As a matter of fact, three Big East teams were all ranked in the top fifteen at once! But the high spot of this year for our family was beating the #7 West Virginia Mountaineers in their own house on national television! This secured more national attention, with comments ranging from "an unbelievable performance" to "watch this program, I'm telling you, they will be a top ten program very soon".

Well, like many holiday letters, this one is getting long! LOL! I would just like to tell our friends that we had forgotten you but the name reminds us of three wins we needed when we were a new program and of our gratitude to your team for so willingly providing them. From our family to yours -- Thank you very much and Happy Holidays!!

Meanwhile they are calling us Tampon State University and so on.  It seems as if they have a very quiet board (go figure) and want to keep it placid.  That's ok, it is their board.  But I have certainly seen their people post worse smack than mine.

I've been trying since the middle of last week to get registered on their site but have not received a password.  Anyone else having the same issue?  It seems their retards can get on the BullsPen site very fast and begin puking up the purple BS but I haven't seen one Bull post on their site?  Double standards are so wonderful > >

They have been talking crap for the last few years.  The only reason I never referenced any of it is because it all was irrelevant (until now).

They have been for the last few years.  Even though we left CUSA after the 2004 season, they have taken shots at USF for a small fan base (old people small attendence, all I know when I was there in 2003 I saw a lot of empty seats), no history (yeah, theirs is one everyone I know talks about), and a rented stadium (what other big time best playing surface in the NFL stadium is near purpleville?)
