It is premium content on BaseballHQ, so I can't copy. But, he has Baisley as a 7C prospect, which means he is a decent bet to become an average every day player. MLB debut is anticipated in 2009. By comparison, players ranked as 10's are almost non-existent, and there are about 25 9's in all the minor leagues.Deric's book Minor League Baseball Analyst comes out in January and is sold here:http://www.baseballhq.com/mlba.shtml

Leslie is now playing the outfield in the A's system. A's officials indicated that they moved Leslie from 3rd base to make way for Baisley, and they like Leslie enough to keep him moving up in the outfield. Should be fun to see how they both progress.Normal

The short answer is Deric has him as a 6C, right now he projects as fourth outfielder type.

His glove was a liability at 3B, but his cannon arm and newfound power could make him a contender in RF.

It's a good sign when your organization sends you to the Hawaii or Arizona leagues after the season.

Also David Austen dropped off the face of the earth last year (not on any minor league roster) with the Angels after a decent performance in spring training (could be an injury). After that, you have the recent signees down in lower A -- Casey Hudspeth, Chase Lirette, Brian Baisley. And I'm probably forgetting someone.None of those are likely to be on a Top Prospect list yet.
