Mostly smack in response to some of the ECU disrespect being spouted here.  I think most believe USF is a better team than Cincy, and you guys grabbed some attention with the WVU win.  We'd rather play the opponent with the highest profile, which right now seems to be you guys.  Everybody says everybody sucks at one time or another.  Don't take it personally.  Come to our board and post resonably, and you'll be politely received.  I try to do the same when I'm visiting, but when you run into rude jerks, sometimes the temptation to respond in kind is too great.  FTR, you guys had a great win Saturday.  (Don't tell anyone I said so  )

Ok. Unless Rutgers beats WV and the BCS takes Louisville also, I do not see USF in any other bowl.

ND would also have to go to the BCS and not Gator bowl.

Kyle, that is just a rumor that a guy named River City Pirate posted.  How reliable is this guy normally?  Since the Big East works together with both the International Bowl AND the PapaJohns.com Bowl on placing their selections, I have trouble imagining that they'd send Cincinnati to Birmingham and ship us all the way up to Toronto.

It might be fascinating, but it's EXTREMELY unlikely.  The only way USF goes to Houston would be if Louisville AND Notre Dame both receive at large BCS bids.  Since Michigan and Boise State have already locked up the other two bids, that means that both would have to be taken over LSU

Sportcenter just reported that the Rose bowl was probably taking LSU.  So getting 2 BE teams in aint gonna happen.  The BE bowls work the the conference to place teams, in the case of the bham and intl bowls.  There is NO WAY the conference/bowls is sending us to Toronto.  Mark it down.
