You want that CUSA dump over in Orlando for that distinction...

Face it, ECU is a sub-par team in a dead conference.

That would be nice....but ECU fans know thats probably not in the works.  Lets face it the Pirate program got derailed 5 years ago and the was not attractive to the BE.  Ive always thought that you must earn what you get...The only way for the Pirates to do that is to build on what has happened this year....You USF guys can think our program is a joke...it OK..we are used to that type of stuff in our own state...It doesnt bother us in the least....All I know is we have always been the underdog and we like it...It keeps the chip on our shoulders....It keeps us hungry...Thats the reason that even though USF is in a Metro area and ECU is in a city of 60k....The pirates had better average home attendance that USF....37167 to 30222.  We may not always perform on the field as hoped.. but we still follow our team.  If we are fortunate to be able to play USF in the bowl you will see our passion for football.  Be ready to be outnumbered in the stands 2 to 1.  Best luck to USF regardless of what happens....Unlike many of the posters here today...I would never stoop to silly name calling badmouthing of another university or its fans.

UD, it's all in fun... for me, anyway.  Besides, we were outnumbered 10-1 at the Meineke Bowl last year.  2-1 would be a refreshing change!

WTF are you talking about.  The Boneyard Banter has had many posters over the last few years take pot shots at USF at least once a month.  Now that they are relevant I showed some of the links on other threads so that our guys could read the latest spooge spewing from the Putrid Purple Pirates.  Hell, you should be happy since most were bummed that USF in probably not going to the Texas Bowl.
