Rice had a good seaosn after playing some tough teams to start the year and they had a player die during practice. They will be no push over if they are our opponent.

I doubt Rice is in Birmingham, but don't overlook them.  Yes, we all have made jokes at the expense of Rice over the years, but they're MUCH improved.  Their recruiting has really taken off once they entered CUSA and they've really, really improved.  The name might not get your blood pumping, but they'll definitely be a challenge.  Again, having said that, I would expect it to be ECU... not Rice.

I'm not giving up hope we're going to texas.  I think it's still a decent possibility if RU wins next week.

Rutgers, Louisville, UCLA, and Arkansas all need to win next week to be assured of 2 BCS bids - if LSU is behind Louisville in the BCS that comes out 7:30 or so tomorrow night.

Otherwise it comes down to LSU or Louisville in the Rose Bowl.
