You never want your head coach to leave and Leavitt has done a great job with this program however if he did leave I feel our program is in great shape to continue the success as long as the right man was hired.

The chances of Leavitt taking the UM job if offered are slim to none.......and slim left town.  He has said he wants to stay here, and I bullieve him.  If he decides to leave for another team, I don't think he would do it until he at least had a USF win as Big East Champ.

He has stated over and over again that he has his ultimate dream job, and if you know cjl at all, you know he is being sincere.  He has enough money here, he has already shown that money doesnt always talk.  This is his baby and he is not going to abdone it now that he is almost where he wanted to bring the program to since day 1.

Let's hope so. Perhaps the next Bear Bryant/Joe Pa/ Bowden dynasty here at USF

Leavitt's just not in it for the money...his heart is here and he cares way too much about the players.  I mean he's not driving around in a mercedes or some escalade...

He had a real good talk with Levell Edwards of BYU fame and he told him that it's great to be the "father" of a program.

I have no doubt that Leavitt will be at USF as long as he wishes ... and he will be WINNING !!!
