we arent going to texas.  they pick 3rd.  big east would have to get 2 BCS teams, NOT LIKELY.

It is likely... don't dismiss it so soon.

Louisville is already in the Top 10... a few teams ahead of them will lose -- as noted in the other thread...

The WVU/RU winner and Louisivlle will both be in the Top 1- maybe both in the Top 6...  The Big 10 will have two selections, Notre Dame and BSU take the other two at large slots.

It will take the SEC losing a little ground -- primarily from Arkansas losing twice (LSU and Florida)... Then you would have to ask if a 1-loss Louisville is better than a 2-loss LSU for the last At-Large selection...

It is by no means guaranteed... but it's still enough of a possibility that I would not book any flights to Birmingham just yet.
