A few game observations...

Defense played well enough to win.  If it hadn't been for the goofball fake punt, who knows what might have happened.  It was not the right time or field position for it.  If we had hit the endzone instead of the interception, I think it would have been a different game.  Grothe looked like a freshman, but I'm sure he'll bounce back.  I know, shoulda, woulda, coulda.  I was disappointed that we didn't have a better showing on ESPN.  

Cincy came out smelling like roses.  In addition to the win, the announcers talked about their brand new athletic facilities during the game.  On a side note, the USF commercial during the game was lame compared to Cincy's.

Cincy's defense had been seasoned from playing top competition, so it wasn't like they were soft.

However, when you combine funky-offensive play selections (trying to be too cute) and an off night of Grothe, you get what we got.

I just have one question: Why did the staff decide to stop giving Ponton the ball?

There's lots of football remaining.

After 2 weeks we will be ready again.

bulls and staff need to over achieve next 4 games

just when you least expect something good to happen for the Bulls-- it does.

just remember that in the next 4 games-- that's all I'm going to say until the Pitt game. Otherwise-- I'm done boo hooing over this game.
