the world series.  Maybe i am biased but the strike zone for the mets batters has been way bigger than the cardinals the last few games.   Cardinals vs Tigers ....YUCK!.  Maybe everyone in the us will be wachin the usf/cincy game snday night.  Couldnt have worked out any better for the bulls.

I agree... this can only help us out... I know our game isn't that attractive nationally, but I would have much preferred Mets vs Tigers.  Would have been an interesting series... now it may just be a sweep.

who wants to see peope sitting in freezing rain

commissioner smazza would knock off 20 regular season games and play some doubleheaders so world series is over by oct 1

baseball was meant to be played in sunshine

commish smazza would add wild card teams and give divison winners a bye in first round

can you believe that crap.  what a cheater.  I love how he played it off like it was dirt on his hand.  Yea ok Kenny.  They showed his last 5 games on espn and he had it on his palm in every game.  wow

He reminds me of the old guy Harris in Major league with the vasoline under his hat.

He was suspected of cheating back in 94 when he threw the perfect game. About a dozen or so game balls had little x's cut into them.

Didn't he pitch better after he cleaned off his hand than before?

sure, but trip they showed his last 5 starts and he had the pine tar on his hand every time.  I was never a pitcher but I can imagine it can put some extra movement on a ball.

plus kenny rogers walked in the winning run in the playoffs when he was on the mets, hit a cameraman for doing his job, and never tipped me when i worked at tampa palms, so he is forever a selfish, rubber arm loser in my book.

Tony larusa should have read the rule book and came out and had him ejected in the 1st inning when he noticed it.
