Imagine GrothE's carries will be limited, partly because of his injury but mainly because of Ponton's return and hopefully the continueing effort by Williams and the O-Line.

UNC has a terrible run defense.  If our o-line has close to the same game they had against UConn I think ponton should get over 100 easily.

I voted for 51-75.  I think he'll share some carries with B. Williams after the stellar game he had last week.  Not sure if The Jim will even start Ricky.

Ponton goes into the North Carolina game listed as the No. 2 back behind Lake Wales' Benjamin Williams, but he is expected to work into the starting roll, although Leavitt won't confirm that.

"Benjamin has run hard from the beginning and he hasn't slowed down. That's why he's in there," Leavitt said.

"Ponton hasn't played," Leavitt said. "We'll have to wait and see how he plays, see how it will all work out."

For the record, BAUSFKID never wrote in (until now) on this link, not quite sure how I'm "full of it" Zonald?  I have still never seen anything from the university on the suspensions being lifted.

If they are lifted I believe Ponton will rush for 40 or so yards.

I was certain that Bo Williams would start, but I'm also certain that Ponton will take atleast 60% of the snaps.  Not that Bo couldn't win this one for us, but we need to get Ponton some game EXP this year before we play Cinci and Pitt.
